Terms of service
Acceptance
By using shotseq, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
Your right to use shotseq
shotseq is provided free of charge for personal and commercial use, without requiring an account. You may use the tool to create as many videos as your device can handle.
Your content
You retain all rights to the images you bring to shotseq and the videos shotseq encodes from them. shotseq does not claim ownership of any of your media and does not store it on our infrastructure.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use shotseq to create or process content that infringes on third-party rights, contains illegal material, violates export controls, or breaks any applicable law in the jurisdiction where you use the service.
Demo media
The sample photographs displayed when the editor first loads are licensed under the Unsplash license and credited to their respective photographers in the interface. You may not redistribute those photographs as standalone images; using them as test material to evaluate shotseq is fine.
No warranty
shotseq is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Browser support for in-page video encoding varies; some combinations of codec, resolution, and frame rate may not work on every device.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operators of shotseq are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision. Continued use of shotseq after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
