Privacy policy

In short shotseq runs in your browser. Your images are not uploaded. We use lightweight aggregate pageview analytics, and the only product preferences we keep are small UI settings stored locally on your device.

What we don't collect

shotseq does not upload your images, nor any data derived from them, to any server. We use a lightweight pageview analytics script to understand aggregate site traffic, but it is not involved in your image processing workflow. We do not run advertising integrations on this page.

Local storage on your device

We use your browser's local storage to remember a small set of UI preferences — your chosen language, theme, accent color, and panel layout. This data never leaves your device. You can clear it any time from your browser's site data settings.

Third-party assets we load

When this page loads, your browser fetches the page typeface from Google Fonts, the demo photographs from the Unsplash content delivery network, the encoder library from the esm.sh content delivery network, and a lightweight pageview analytics script from click.pageview.click. Those services may log your IP address and user agent as a normal part of serving any web request. We do not receive image data through those requests.

Cookies

shotseq does not set any cookies. Third-party CDNs serving fonts or images may set their own cookies according to their own policies; you can disable third-party cookies in your browser without affecting shotseq.

Children

shotseq is intended for users aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly process information from anyone younger.

Your rights

Because we do not collect personal information about you, there is nothing for us to access, export, or delete on your behalf. To remove the local-storage preferences described above, clear site data for shotseq.com in your browser.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the service changes. The date at the top of this page always reflects the latest revision.

Terms of service

Last updated · May 28, 2026

Acceptance

By using shotseq, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Your right to use shotseq

shotseq is provided free of charge for personal and commercial use, without requiring an account. You may use the tool to create as many videos as your device can handle.

Your content

You retain all rights to the images you bring to shotseq and the videos shotseq encodes from them. shotseq does not claim ownership of any of your media and does not store it on our infrastructure.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use shotseq to create or process content that infringes on third-party rights, contains illegal material, violates export controls, or breaks any applicable law in the jurisdiction where you use the service.

Demo media

The sample photographs displayed when the editor first loads are licensed under the Unsplash license and credited to their respective photographers in the interface. You may not redistribute those photographs as standalone images; using them as test material to evaluate shotseq is fine.

No warranty

shotseq is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Browser support for in-page video encoding varies; some combinations of codec, resolution, and frame rate may not work on every device.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operators of shotseq are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision. Continued use of shotseq after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
